Star Wars Movies in Order

There are many ways to watch the Star Wars movies. If you are like me, you like to watch them in Chronological order, which is the order the events had happened even though, this way spoils who Lukes father is.

Chronological Order:

  • Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
  • Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
  • Episode III: Revenge of the Siths (2005)
  • Solo (2018)
  • Rogue One (2016)
  • Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
  • Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
  • Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi (1983)
  • Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
  • Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

If you want to keep the secret of Luke’s father Theatrical order is the way to go, but the storyline does get mixed up.

Theatrical Order:

  • Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
  • Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
  • Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi (1983)
  • Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
  • Episode II: The Attack of the Clones (2002)
  • Episode III: Revenge of the Sith ( 2005)
  • Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
  • Rogue One (2016)
  • Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
  • Solo (2018)
  • Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
